Location: Carate Brianza, Italy (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Full-time

Work Model: Hybrid (approx. 1 day/week remote)

We are recruiting on behalf of an innovative robotics company developing advanced humanoid robotic systems for industrial and healthcare applications. The organization is focused on building next-generation cognitive robots designed to assist with complex, repetitive, and high-precision tasks.

We are seeking a Motion & Control Robotics Engineer to join a specialized motion team responsible for developing algorithms that enable robots to move, interact, and manipulate objects with precision and reliability.

Role Overview

In this role, you will design and implement motion planning and control systems for humanoid robotics platforms. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary R&D teams to integrate motion software with perception systems, cognitive modules, and hardware actuators.

This position is ideal for engineers passionate about robotics, control systems, and applying advanced algorithms to real-world robotic platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design and optimize motion planning and control algorithms for locomotion and manipulation

Integrate motion software with perception pipelines, cognitive systems, and hardware

Develop solutions for dexterous manipulation and coordinated robot movement

Apply advanced techniques such as reinforcement learning and trajectory optimization

Conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting in simulation and on physical robots

Evaluate new research, tools, and technologies to improve performance and reliability

Collaborate with cross-functional teams across robotics, AI, and hardware engineering

Required Qualifications

Masters degree in Robotics, Automation, Computer Engineering, or a related field

Experience with Python (C++ or additional languages is a plus)

Strong experience with ROS2

Background in robot motion planning and control systems

Experience using Git or similar version control systems

Strong object-oriented programming skills

Professional working proficiency in English

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch

Familiarity with NVIDIA Isaac Sim or similar simulation tools

Experience working on humanoid robotics or advanced robotic manipulation
