Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of broadcast technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations
  • Create and schedule programming for onboard channels, including live events, movies, and TV shows
  • Ensure the quality and reliability of all broadcasts, troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement new and innovative programming ideas
  • Maintain and update broadcast equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition at all times
  • Train and onboard new broadcast technicians, providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles
  • Monitor and analyze viewership data to make informed decisions about programming and scheduling
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in broadcasting technology

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Broadcasting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, preferably in the entertainment or cruise industry
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience with broadcast equipment and software
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Creative and innovative mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality programming
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
