IT Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain computer hardware, software and peripherals On Board Cruise Ship
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software and network systems
• Monitor and maintain the company's network and server infrastructure
• Perform regular backups and ensure data security and integrity
• Manage user accounts and access permissions
• Provide technical support to employees and assist with training on new systems and software
• Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions to improve efficiency and productivity
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Windows operating systems, and Active Directory
• Experience with network security and data backup solutions
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Previous experience in the maritime industry is a plus
