The Opportunity

This is not a ServiceNow administration role.

Our client is looking for an seasoned ServiceNow Architect to own the platform architecture, translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions, and lead enterprise-wide ServiceNow initiatives from design through delivery. You'll serve as the primary technical authority, working closely with business stakeholders, developers, architects, and project managers to shape the future of the platform.

What You'll Do

• Design and own the ServiceNow platform architecture across the organization
• Define architecture, development, testing, and quality standards
• Design integrations and interoperability with enterprise systems
• Translate business, user, and technical requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions
• Evaluate technologies and optimize platform performance, security, and reliability
• Gather and analyze stakeholder requirements to recommend optimal solutions
• Lead ServiceNow implementation and enhancement projects from concept to delivery
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle
• Support security, risk management, disaster recovery, and governance initiatives
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
• Present technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Who We're Looking For

• Extensive experience designing enterprise ServiceNow architectures
• Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and IT Service Management best practices
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations including REST APIs, Web Services, LDAP, and SSO
• Hands-on experience with enterprise architecture and systems modeling tools (Sparx Enterprise Architect, ARIS Architect, or similar)
• Strong understanding of enterprise system interoperability and complex IT environments
• Knowledge of IT security principles and secure solution design
• Experience producing technical architecture documentation and solution designs
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Self-driven with the ability to work independently in complex environments

Nice to Have

• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Certified Master Architect (CMA), or other ServiceNow certifications
• Experience with multiple ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, SecOps, HRSD, or GRC
• Knowledge of TOGAF or other Enterprise Architecture frameworks
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, or Workday
• Experience with JavaScript and the ServiceNow Glide API
• Previous experience within highly regulated or security-sensitive environments
