Trade Finance Analyst

The hiring company is one of the leading commodity trading conglomerates established in a key market in Southeast Asia and has business presence worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Operations Team, Traders and banks to handle guarantees, standby letters of credit and letters of credit for import and export
• Ensure trade documentation comply with sales/purchase contracts
• Monitor ongoing trades to take appropriate actions with relevant stakeholders
• Liaise with banks for RMA, confirmation and discounting quotes

Requirements

• Good knowledge of trade finance products
• General knowledge on financial terms
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Basic knowledge of Base Metals
• Working knowledge of UCP and incoterms
• Diligent, proactive and eye for detail
• Ability to effectively communicate and interact with a wide range of individuals
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a high-pressured environment
• Experienced in dealing with banks an advantage
