H3C Network Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and technically strong H3C Network Engineer to design, implement, support, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring and maintaining H3C networking technologies, including switching, routing, wireless, security, and meshing solutions across enterprise and service provider environments.

The role requires strong troubleshooting capabilities, deep understanding of network architecture, and hands-on experience with H3C enterprise equipment and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Network Implementation & Configuration

• Install, configure, and maintain H3C network infrastructure devices.
• Deploy and support H3C switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless solutions.
• Configure VLANs, STP, routing protocols, ACLs, QoS, and security policies.
• Implement and maintain wireless and mesh network environments.

Network Operations & Support

• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, outages, and performance issues.
• Perform root cause analysis on recurring network problems.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support.

Network Design & Optimization

• Assist with network architecture planning and optimization.
• Design scalable and secure network solutions.
• Conduct network assessments and capacity planning.
• Recommend infrastructure improvements and upgrades.

Security & Compliance

• Ensure network security standards are maintained.
• Implement firewall rules and network segmentation.
• Support vulnerability remediation and compliance initiatives.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate network diagrams and technical documentation.
• Prepare operational and incident reports.
• Document configurations, procedures, and change requests.

Project Delivery

• Participate in infrastructure and migration projects.
• Support data center and branch connectivity rollouts.
• Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and internal teams.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• H3C certification highly advantageous:
• H3CNE
• H3CSE
• H3CIE (preferred)

Required Experience

• 3–8+ years of network engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with H3C networking technologies.
• Experience supporting enterprise or ISP network environments.
• Strong experience with meshing configurations and wireless networking.
