Automotive Interior Parts Development Engineer

Position Overview

• Job Title: Automotive Interior Parts Development Engineer
• Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent
• Work Location: Ciudad Juárez, Mexico (near the El Paso, Texas border) or Georgia/Alabama region, USA

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer (OEM/Tier 1) requirements and develop corresponding interior part designs
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications; prepare BOMs
• Coordinate prototype development and work closely with tooling/injection/machining processes
• Review development schedule and quality prior to mass production
• Communicate with customers and manage technical discussions
• Identify and implement solutions to address development issues

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive interior parts development
• Experience in customer communication and leading development projects
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting CAD drawings (Experience with CATIA, NX is a plus)
• Experience with quality documents (APQP, PPAP, etc.) is a plus
• Willingness to work overseas and ability to communicate in English preferred

Work Conditions
