Technical Manager

Responsibilities

• Design coordination with design consultants to deliver Contractors design to suit Contractors intended construction sequence and program;
• Site coordination with construction team and designers to resolve site queries and design changes;
• Ensure compliance with statutory comments. Responsible for relationship management with clients;
• Ensure robust processes are in place and being monitored for control of design and implementation. This will include the management of temporary works design.
• Liaise and coordinate with Project Manager and other Government Authorities to obtain design approvals.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Civil Engineering or equivalent;
• Minimum 20 years of design and construction experience is must with at least 5 years in bridges, highway structure and roadworks. Specialize in temporary works design of civil engineering projects;
• Corporate member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers in Civil Engineering or equivalent is a must;
• Familiar with the coordination of design-and-build fast track project is preferred;
• Work independently.
