Our Client, is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Google Ads Specialist to drive, elevate, and scale its performance marketing initiatives. This senior leadership role within the digital strategy team is designed for a data-driven professional who excels at executing high-impact paid search campaigns, managing significant budgets, and mentoring junior marketing talent to foster a culture of growth.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Google Ads Specialist will hold strategic ownership over paid acquisition channels, taking on the following high-level duties:

• Strategic Channel Ownership: Align the Google Ads channel with overarching business objectives, defining scalable campaign structures, advanced bidding strategies, and sophisticated targeting approaches.
• Multi-Channel Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of core Search campaigns while actively testing and expanding cross-channel initiatives, including Performance Max, Display, Shopping, YouTube, and Remarketing.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Serve as a mentor and guide to junior team members, supporting their professional development and ensuring industry best practices are implemented across all account workflows.
• Advanced Analytics & Auditing: Analyze complex performance datasets to uncover trends, optimize budget allocation, conduct comprehensive account audits, and deliver high-level strategic recommendations to leadership.
• Testing & Conversion Optimization: Design and interpret rigorous A/B testing methodologies across ad creatives, landing pages, and campaign setups, leveraging Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) principles to drive growth.
• Technical Compliance: Manage complex troubleshooting for tracking infrastructure, compliance issues, and campaign delivery mechanics to maintain smooth operations at scale.

Requirements

To succeed in this senior-level position, candidates must demonstrate deep technical mastery and strong analytical leadership:

• Experience & Education: Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience managing profitable Google Ads campaigns in performance-driven environments, supported by a BSc/MSc in Business, Marketing, Media, Communications, Management, or a related discipline.
• Credentials & Tooling: Active Google Ads Certifications (advanced specializations preferred). Proficiency with automation tools such as Google Ads Editor, Ads Scripts, and API workflows is highly valued.
• Data & Attribution Infrastructure: Deep understanding of GA4, Google Tag Manager (GTM), and complex attribution frameworks. Advanced capabilities in Excel/Google Sheets for modeling and forecasting are required; experience with SQL, Tableau, or Looker is a distinct advantage.
• Competitive Intelligence: Familiarity with industry-standard PPC and SEO research suites, including SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Similarweb.
• Stakeholder Communication: Exceptional communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus), with a proven ability to translate intricate data points into clear, actionable insights for cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership.
