The Vet Office is recruiting on behalf of one of Dublins few remaining independent small animal hospitals , known for its collaborative culture, high clinical standards, and genuine commitment to veterinary excellence.

With a caseload of approximately 75% dogs and cats and 25% exotics , this is an ideal opportunity for an experienced veterinarian who enjoys variety and wants to continue developing their skills in a supportive and progressive environment.

Two of the current vets already hold Certificates in Exotic Animal Medicine , and two more are in training so while interest in exotics is welcomed , it is not a requirement . The focus of this position will primarily be on dogs and cats .

As the hospital prepares to open a second site in Dublin , this is an exciting time to join a practice that combines the independence of a family-run team with the resources of a modern, well-equipped hospital.

The Role

Full-time permanent position (part-time considered)

Mixed medical and surgical caseload (mainly small animals)

Requirements

•

Degree in Veterinary Medicine recognised within the EU

•

Minimum 23 years of small animal experience

•

Strong surgical and medical skills

•

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

•

Eligibility to register with the Veterinary Council of Ireland (VCI)
