Veterinary Surgeon – Part-Time

Location: Greater Manchester

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Part time – 20 hours per week | 1 in 4 weekends | No out-of-hours

The Vet Office is supporting a well-established, independently run small animal practice in Greater Manchester with the recruitment of a Part-Time Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and growing team.

The practice has been serving the local community since 2000 and has built a strong reputation for providing high-quality veterinary care alongside excellent client service. This opportunity would suit a veterinary surgeon seeking a stable, supportive environment with flexibility and a strong focus on professional development.

The Practice

The Role

This is a part-time position of 20 hours per week , with a 1 in 4 weekend rota . There is no out-of-hours requirement .

The practice is open to consult-only veterinary surgeons , as well as those wishing to carry out a mix of consulting and surgery.

Professional development is strongly encouraged, with CPD and certificate support available.

The Ideal Candidate

Qualified Veterinary Surgeon, eligible to work in the UK

Confident in general practice, with good diagnostic and surgical skills

Comfortable working as part of a close-knit team

Motivated, reliable and client-focused

Interested in ongoing learning and professional development
