Senior Video Editor
Job description
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging, high-impact visual stories across multiple formats including Reels, YouTube Shorts, podcasts, and long-form videos . The ideal candidate should combine strong storytelling ability with advanced editing skills and a modern understanding of AI-driven and new-age editing tools.
Key Responsibilities
• Edit high-quality short-form content (Reels, Shorts, TikTok-style videos) optimized for engagement and retention
• Edit long-form videos, including podcasts, interviews, and storytelling content for YouTube and digital platforms
• Apply a strong narrative sense to turn raw footage into compelling visual stories
• Add motion graphics, transitions, subtitles, sound design, and effects to enhance the viewer experience
• Ensure brand consistency across all video outputs
• Collaborate with content, marketing, and social media teams for creative direction
• Manage multiple projects with strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Stay updated with new video editing tools, AI-based editing platforms, and industry trends
• Optimize videos based on platform requirements (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)
Required Skills & Experience
• Proven experience as a Video Editor (preferably 3+ years in digital content/agency / media house)
• Strong expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro (must-have)
• Working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, and audio editing tools
• Experience in storytelling editing style (not just basic cutting and trimming)
• Hands-on experience with
• Reels / Shorts editing formats
• Podcast video editing (multi-cam, audio sync, cleanup)
• Long-form YouTube content
• Familiarity with new-age tools (AI editing tools, auto-captioning, content repurposing tools)
• Strong sense of pacing, timing, and audience retention strategy
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
