Job description

Toyota Motor Philippines is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Planning & Budget Management Department in Sta. Rosa, Laguna office.

The Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and control activities that help drive sound financial decisions and overall business performance.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead the month-end closing process for assigned accounts, ensuring all entries are complete, accurate, and in compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
  • Prepare detailed monthly financial statement schedules and reconciliations to support the preparation and review of financial reports.
  • Review, upload, and maintain budget data within SAP, ensuring accuracy and alignment with planning assumptions and organizational requirements.
  • Analyze budget performance and variances between actuals and budget, then prepare clear and concise reports highlighting key insights, trends, and recommended actions for management.
  • Validate and approve procurement-related documents such as PR (Purchase Request) and RFP (Request for Payment) in line with financial controls and policies.
  • Support billing preparation and review processes, ensuring billing data is accurate, complete, and coordinated with relevant internal teams as needed.
  • Prepare necessary pricing-related documents and support schedules to ensure proper compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Work closely with other departments to gather information, align financial assumptions, and support integrated planning and reporting activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve budgeting, reporting, and analysis processes — including tools, templates, and automation — to enhance efficiency and reporting quality.
