Female Business Development Officer
Job description
Our client, a leading paint manufacturing company in Kuwait , is looking for a Female Business Development Officer . The person will be responsible to establish and maintain professional relationships with Consultancy offices in Kuwait and to search for business opportunities in the GCC Countries.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage business communication to promote the company's paint products, and to explore partnership opportunities.
- Develop a strong understanding of the paint Industry, including various products, applications, and market needs.
- Represent the company in meetings, presentations, exhibitions and events linked to business development.
- Coordinate and work hand-by-hand with the marketing department to promote and advertise new products.
- Collaborate with the research and development department to acquire continuous updates of new products development/ quality improvement of existing products.
- Learn and value the technical assessment for Ministries' labs samples, according to various industry specifications and the certificates from external authenticated labs.
- Understand paints quality parameters to align with the market quality guidelines.
- Create and design a database of paint products comparison between the company's products and competitor's products as per sales demand.
- Build and maintain a database of all consultancy offices and organize periodical visits.
- Design a business expansion plan to promote the company's products in different countries in the region.
- Collaborate with sales department regarding new projects in the pipeline or new partnership agreement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil, industrial engineering or chemical engineering. Master's degree is preferable.
- 5+ years of business development experience, preferably from the paint industry or an industry of selling products (B2B).
- Fluency in both Arabic and English languages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Independent personality.
