QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Job description
We are hiring an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a reputable contracting firm in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, contract management, and ensuring project budgets are effectively controlled from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
•
Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documentation
•
Conduct site measurements and valuations
•
Monitor project costs, variations, and prepare interim/final payment applications
•
Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers
•
Ensure compliance with contracts and project specifications
•
Provide cost advice to project teams and management
Requirements
•
Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
•
2-3 years of Sharjah, UAE experience in contracting firms
•
Strong knowledge of cost control, billing, and tender processes
•
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software
•
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
