Associate Sales Director - MICE
Job description
Responsibility
•
Supervise the daily operations of the ballroom facilities, ensuring smooth functioning, cleanliness, and maintenance
•
Coordinate with relevant departments for the setup, scheduling, and execution of events, including staffing requirements, technical equipment, and amenities
•
Implement and enforce health and safety protocols during events to ensure compliance and guest welfare
•
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets and maximize ballroom utilization
•
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the ballroom facilities through various channels, such as social media, advertising, and networking.
•
Build and maintain relationships with clients, catering to their needs, negotiating contracts, and securing future bookings
•
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing information, and resolving issues promptly and professionally
•
Conduct site tours and showcase the facilities to potential clients, emphasizing features and services to meet their event requirements
•
Recruit, train, and manage a team of staff responsible for event coordination, setup, and customer service
•
Foster a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork, productivity, and a high standard of service delivery
•
Prepare budgets, monitor expenses, and analyze financial reports to ensure cost-effective operations and optimal revenue generation
•
Identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost reduction, and operational efficiency improvements
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant experience can substitute for formal education.
- Having experience minimum 4 years as Ballroom Manager
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, negotiate effectively, and manage a diverse team

Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
•
Proficiency in relevant software applications for scheduling, budgeting, and sales trackin
•
Proven experience in event management, sales, or hospitality, preferably in a managerial role within the property or hospitality industry
