SALARY: AUD $80,000 TO $100,000 PER ANNUM

Ezzi Building Services Pty Ltd is seeking suitably qualified and experienced applicants for the positions of Construction Project Manager and Project Builder in Perth, Western Australia. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing residential and/or commercial construction projects from planning through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard of workmanship.

Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing construction projects, coordinating labour and subcontractors, liaising with clients, suppliers and consultants, and ensuring compliance with Australian building standards, workplace health and safety requirements and company procedures. The role requires strong project management capability, practical building knowledge and the ability to supervise works across multiple stages of construction.

Tasks

Key tasks include

Planning, coordinating and managing construction projects from commencement to completion.

Preparing and reviewing project schedules and project plans, construction programs, budgets and work plans.

Supervising site activities and coordinating trades, subcontractors and suppliers.

Monitoring project progress, costs, materials, labour and quality of work.

Interpreting plans, drawings, specifications and building documentation.

Liaising with clients, architects, engineers, certifiers, local authorities and other stakeholders.

Ensuring all work complies with relevant building codes, Australian standards, safety regulations and contractual requirements.

Managing variations, delays, defects, site issues and project reporting.

Conducting site inspections and ensuring quality control throughout the construction process.

Maintaining accurate project records, reports, schedules and compliance documentation.

Skills

Applicants should have

Strong knowledge of construction methods, project delivery and site management.

Excellent organisational, planning and time-management skills.

Ability to manage budgets, timelines, subcontractors and construction resources.

Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency with construction project management systems, scheduling tools and Microsoft Office or similar software.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold relevant qualifications in building, construction management, project

management, civil construction, or a related field.

Relevant Australian or overseas qualifications may be considered, including a diploma, advanced diploma, bachelor degree or equivalent trade/background experience in the building and construction industry.

Experience

Applicants must have relevant experience in construction project management, building supervision or project delivery, if a bachelor's degree is present. If no degree, then at least 5 years of experience in the relevant industry. Previous experience in residential, commercial or mixed-use construction projects will be highly regarded. Experience managing subcontractors, construction schedules, budgets, compliance requirements and client communications is essential.
