Digital Media Head

Job Summary
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Digital Media Head to lead the Media team in developing digital media strategies, overseeing media planning and buying, managing campaign implementation, and driving campaign optimization.
This role is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of media services to clients while supporting profitability, service quality, and overall business growth. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, commercially minded, and experienced in managing paid media campaigns, large client accounts, and high-performing media teams.
Key Responsibilities
Media Strategy, Planning, and Buying
- Lead the development of digital media plans and strategies across paid media campaigns.
- Oversee media planning, buying, campaign implementation, and optimization.
- Provide strategic direction across all accounts and campaigns handled by the Media team.
- Translate campaign briefs and objectives into achievable, relevant, and effective media plans.
- Ensure campaigns are aligned with business goals and financial targets, including cost efficiency, sales, and new business acquisition.
- Lead media-related pitch processes and requirements.
- Confidently present media strategies, campaign plans, and measurement approaches to clients and internal stakeholders.
Process and Profitability Management
- Drive the overall process for digital media planning and campaign execution.
- Direct the daily workflow of all paid campaigns.
- Analyze and improve departmental processes to increase team efficiency and productivity.
- Partner with key business unit leads to support better integration across agency units.
- Support the growth of existing client business and/or contribute to the development of new media products or services.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Collaborate with the ad operations team in creating reports with actionable insights.
- Review campaign performance and provide recommendations to improve effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for campaign optimization and performance improvement.
- Present data, insights, and optimization strategies to clients and internal stakeholders, as needed.
Project Management and Relationship Building
- Work closely with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth campaign execution and delivery.
- Build relationships and spearhead collaborations with external partners and publishers.
- Maintain open communication channels with clients and stakeholders.
- Address client concerns and provide strategic guidance throughout the campaign lifecycle.
- Reinforce proper documentation of cost estimates, contracts, and campaign-related requirements.
Ad Technology and Innovation
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and new media opportunities.
- Regularly contribute to media best practices, campaign processes, and new executions.
- Evaluate innovative media approaches to enhance campaign strategies and help differentiate clients from competitors.
Leadership and Team Management
- Recruit, train, motivate, and develop Media team members to help them perform at their best.
- Set clear performance standards and monitor team progress.
- Provide regular feedback to support employee growth and development.
- Communicate effectively with team members, colleagues, and stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Foster a culture of innovation and encourage team members to contribute new ideas and solutions.
- Develop and implement strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Advertising, Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, or any related field is preferred but not required.
- At least 6 years of experience in media planning, media buying, or related fields, or a proven track record in a similar position.
- Experience working with a team in a similar or adjacent industry.
- Hands-on experience with paid media tools such as Google Ads, Meta Business Tools, TikTok Ads, and similar platforms.
- Previous leadership or management experience is required.
- Strong solutions mindset with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Adaptable, eager to learn, and highly interested in the advertising and media industry.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Reporting Line
This role reports to the Managing Director and will lead members of the Media team, including media planning, strategy, ad operations, and media buying professionals.
