Field Sales Supervisor

The Opportunity

This is a people leadership role for a commercially driven professional who enjoys working close to the market, developing teams, and translating strategy into execution.

As Field Sales Supervisor, you will lead a team of Trade Marketing Representatives, ensuring outstanding execution at the point of sale, strong customer relationships, and achievement of business objectives across your territory.

You will act as a key link between commercial strategy and field execution, while working closely with distributors, trade partners, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Trade Marketing Representatives, driving engagement, accountability and performance
  • Set clear objectives, monitor execution and ensure delivery of sales and trade marketing targets
  • Drive excellence in execution across all assigned territories and points of sale
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers and other trade partners

• Ensure effective implementation of trade marketing programs, merchandising standards and commercial initiatives

  • Monitor field performance, analyze business results and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Optimize the allocation of field resources and support commercial planning activities
  • Promote a strong performance culture while ensuring compliance with company standards, policies and ethical principles
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing and other cross-functional teams to achieve business goals

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in FMCG sales, field force management, trade marketing or a related commercial environment
  • Previous people management or team leadership experience is highly desirable
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of retail and route-to-market dynamics
  • Proven ability to influence, motivate and develop others
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and insights to drive decisions
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, performance-driven environment
  • University degree preferred
  • Fluent Slovenian and English
