Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our school team. The successful candidate will provide occupational therapy services to students with various needs, promoting their participation and success in educational activities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess students' occupational performance, identifying strengths and challenges
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to enhance students' occupational performance
• Provide occupational therapy sessions to students, focusing on improving fine motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living skills
• Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to integrate occupational therapy into the educational environment
• Recommend and provide adaptive equipment, modifications, and assistive technology to support students' participation
• Educate parents and caregivers on strategies to support their child's occupational development
• Monitor students' progress and report findings to educators, parents, and other relevant parties

Shift: Days [full-time, 35hrs]

OT: $82.5 to 88.2

$100 gas incentive (one time)

Duration: 42 weeks
