Cybersecurity Consultant

About the Role: Opentap Talent is working with a client that is looking for an experienced Cybersecurity professionals to join it's team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust security protocols and systems to protect against cyber threats.
• Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability testing.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches, ensuring quick resolution and mitigation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive security measures are in place.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and best practices.
• Provide guidance and training to internal teams on security protocols and best practices.
• Assist in the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Proficiency in security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
• Experience with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, or HIPAA.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar are highly desirable.
