About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our client, a leading hospitality establishment in Phnom Penh. If you have a passion for excellence in food and beverage service and are fluent in Chinese, this is your chance to contribute to a high-standard restaurant operation.

Responsibilities

  • Set-Up Operations:
  • Establish café and bar operations, including food and drink costing and recipe development.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations in line with the hotels standards.
  • Financial Management:
  • Monitor and manage the financial performance of the restaurant and bar monthly.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of complimentary items to track stock levels.
  • Service Standards:
  • Maintain high standards of professional service and cleanliness in the café and bar areas.
  • Handle escalated guest feedback and ensure swift resolutions in line with company policies.
  • Team Management:
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to meet hotel standards.
  • Conduct appraisals, probation reviews, and manage staff performance.
  • Address staff absence or sickness issues in coordination with HR.
  • Inventory & Purchasing:
  • Assist the accounting team in purchasing F&B inventories when required.
  • Leadership & Communication:
  • Conduct regular team meetings and briefings.
  • Be on-call to manage emergencies when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in Chinese is a must.
  • Proven experience in restaurant supervision or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including costing and inventory management.
  • Ability to manage finances and analyze performance metrics effectively.
