Frontend Developer - Japanese-Speaking (Enterprise Web Applications)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Japanese-speaking Frontend Developer to support the design and implementation of user interfaces for enterprise web applications. This role involves working with bilingual teams and Japanese-speaking stakeholders to ensure high-quality, accessible, and scalable UI components are delivered based on business and technical requirements.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in modern JavaScript frameworks, UI/UX best practices, and can comfortably navigate communication in both Japanese and English within a multi-national or client-facing setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly interfaces using frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Translate Japanese documentation and client requirements into frontend implementation plans.
• Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Ensure consistency in styling, layout, and behavior across different platforms and browsers.
• Write clean, modular, and reusable code with attention to performance and accessibility.
• Participate in code reviews, UI testing, and sprint planning sessions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UI frameworks, tools, and trends in frontend development.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in frontend development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern JS frameworks.
• Proficient in Japanese (JLPT N4 or higher) and English, both verbal and written.
• Experience working in global or multilingual development environments is an advantage.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, version control (Git), and build tools like Webpack, Vite, or similar.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Detail-oriented, with good communication and collaboration skills.
