Junior Area Operations Manager - Apparel Manufacturing

Job Summary

We are hiring a Junior Area Operations Manager to support day-to-day production activities across assigned lines or sections within an apparel manufacturing or export facility . The role assists in supervising floor operations, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring production targets are met with quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has working experience in garment production or factory floor supervision , is results-driven, and ready to grow into a broader leadership role in manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily operations across designated production areas or sewing lines.
• Monitor production output, line efficiency, and workforce performance.
• Support issue resolution related to manpower, materials, or production delays.
• Coordinate with quality, planning, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.
• Implement production plans and ensure alignment with operational standards and timelines.
• Maintain accurate reporting on production metrics and submit updates to senior management.
• Help ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, and company policies on the floor.
• Coach and support line leaders and operators to improve productivity and quality.
• Recommend improvements in processes and workflow to reduce waste and downtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• At least 2-4 years of experience in garment production, line supervision, or factory operations .
• Working knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, workflow balancing, and basic efficiency tracking.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-heavy environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic reporting tools; familiarity with production tracking systems is a plus.
