Manager Tax Advisory
Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tax Advisory Manager to oversee client engagements or key components of larger advisory projects. This role involves managing team members, delivering expert tax advice, and contributing directly to the quality and success of each engagement. You will also provide coaching and development support to junior staff and may begin to take on leadership in business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
As a Manager, your responsibilities will include

Leading one or more client engagements or segments of large-scale tax projects.
•
Delivering high-quality Australian tax advice to a diverse client base, including SMEs, family businesses, trusts, partnerships, foreign subsidiaries, and listed companies.
•
Ensuring compliance with Australian tax legislation and identifying opportunities to improve tax efficiency for clients.
•
Conducting research and analysis to support strategic tax planning initiatives.
•
Playing a key role throughout the client engagement lifecycle, including presentations and meetings with senior stakeholders.
•
Providing mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members to support their career development.
Qualifications and Skills
We're looking for someone who brings the following
•
Proven knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting regulations.
•
Strong technical background in tax compliance, advisory, and accounting standards.
•
4 to 5 years of experience in a tax advisory or consulting role.
•
CA or CTA qualified (or equivalent).
•
Tertiary or post-graduate qualifications in a relevant field.
•
Ability to simplify complex concepts and communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
•
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•
Confidence in delivering presentations and interacting with clients.
•
