Role Overview
Seeking an experienced veterinarian for a Medical Director position in a well-established practice. This leadership role focuses on guiding the clinical team, improving medical protocols, and delivering high-quality patient care. The position offers the opportunity to shape clinical standards, mentor staff, and support practice growth in a collaborative environment with a balanced four-day workweek.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the clinical team while maintaining high standards of care.
- Provide comprehensive veterinary services, including wellness care, diagnostics, and surgery.
- Perform soft tissue surgery and dentistry procedures.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to enhance clinical protocols.
- Mentor team members and promote a positive, growth-focused practice culture.
Qualifications
- Licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in Colorado or eligibility for licensure.
- Minimum 4+ years of clinical experience.
- Strong surgical and dental skills.
- Proven leadership ability with a focus on team development and patient care.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
