Location : Markham, ON

Salary : $28.00 to $35.00/hour (negotiable)

Hours : 30-40 per week

Term : Full-time (contract)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years of practical nursing experience
• Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse
• Completion of Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Exam
• CPR & First Aid certificates
• Criminal record check & TB test
• Own transportation
• Knowledge of Cantonese/Mandarin is an asset

Duties

• Administer medications and monitor patient progress
• Conduct specimen collection and ensure infection control
• Monitor nutritional intake and vital signs
• Assist in preparing patients for surgery
• Provide nursing services within the scope of practice

Work Conditions

• Physically demanding, fast-paced environment
• Standing for extended periods and handling large caseloads

Work Setting : Chronic/Long-term Care Facility

Schedule : Flexible shifts (day, evening, night, weekend)
