Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced and skilled Head Baker to lead the bakery team. As a Head Baker, you will be responsible for overseeing bakery operations, managing staff, and ensuring high-quality baked goods .

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bakery operations, including bread, pastry, and dessert production.
• Ensure high standards of quality, safety, and hygiene.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of bakers and bakery staff.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Develop and implement new recipes and products.
• Maintain and update existing recipes.
• Manage inventory, control costs, and minimize waste.
• Source high-quality ingredients and suppliers.
• Ensure all baked goods meet quality and presentation standards.
• Conduct regular quality checks.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Baking and Pastry Arts or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a senior baking role.
• Proven track record of leadership and baking expertise.
• Strong baking and pastry-making skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
