Vendor Development Coordinator

Job Summary
The Vendor Development Coordinator is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new vendors globally. This role ensures vendors meet company standards and are integrated smoothly into our systems. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and critical thinking skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to vendor management.
Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Recruitment & Onboarding
- Identify and recruit new vendors globally.
- Write job descriptions and post them on relevant media platforms.
- Source potential candidates on niche online platforms.
- Perform pre-screening calls to analyze technicians' abilities.
- Develop and implement vendor selection programs.
- Vendor Management & Compliance
- Negotiate standard rates and contracts with vendors.
- Communicate vendor responsibilities and obligations.
- Monitor compliance (updated insurance, required documents executed and in Dispatch1).
- Maintain vendor records in Dispatch1 (remove inactive vendors, etc.).
- Prospecting & Data Management
- Conduct daily prospecting activities (calls, emails, web research, data entry).
- Ensure accurate collection and entry of prospect/company data in HubSpot and internal databases.
- Maintain complete documentation of call activities and vendor onboarding details.
- Communication & Relationship Building
- Deliver exceptional communication skills through phone, chat, and email.
- Provide a positive and supportive experience at all points of interaction.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with vendors and partners.
- Market Insights & Focus Areas
- Monitor sales trends to determine recruitment focus areas.
- Provide data-driven insights to guide vendor development strategies.
Job Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Background in customer service, administrative support, recruiting, sales, or similar roles is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
- Strong internet research skills and ability to navigate online platforms.
- Comfortable learning new systems and technologies.
