About the Role

Your day will centre on MOT testing for cars and light commercial vehicles , making sure safety standards are upheld without compromise. Beyond the test itself, there will also be occasional servicing and repair work. Its a role for someone who values doing things properly and appreciates the trust that customers place in their tester.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 8:30 am 5:30 pm

•

Saturdays (on rota): 9:00 am 12:00 pm

Key Duties

•

Carry out MOT tests to the required standard and routine servicing and repair work

•

Keep accurate records and follow compliance procedures

•

Advise customers clearly on outcomes and next steps

•

Maintain equipment and testing areas to DVSA standards

•

Work closely with the wider workshop team to keep things running smoothly

Key Requirements

•

MOT testing licence or previous experience working within a garage

•

Solid experience in testing and vehicle safety standards

•

Confidence in communicating with customers in a straightforward, approachable way

•

Reliability and a high level of attention to detail

•

A team player who takes pride in their work
