Plumbing and Heating Engineer / Gas Engineer £40,000 - £45,000 per annum DOE Plymouth

In this role, youll work on residential properties, using your gas engineering expertise to install, service, and maintain a range of heating systems. Youll encounter diverse work and take on new challenges that let you utilize your skills while collaborating with a tight-knit, supportive team. The client is a well-established heating and plumbing service provider dedicated to excellence and customer satisfaction. They specialize in reliable and innovative solutions, helping people enjoy safe, comfortable homes across Plymouth. Known for their expert team and hands-on approach, they pride themselves on professional service with a personal touch.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Overtime available for those seeking additional hours

Key Duties

  • Install, service, and repair heating systems across residential and light commercial properties.
  • Perform safety checks, maintenance, and troubleshooting, ensuring high standards in all work.
  • Offer expert advice to customers, guiding them in the best use of their heating systems.
  • Keep up with industry standards, focusing on safety and efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a qualified Plumbing and Heating Engineer/Gas Engineer.
  • Desirable qualifications: Cooker and Fire tickets, G3 certification.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Full, clean driving license preferred. (Van and fuel card provided)
