Vehicle Technician £45,000 depending on experience Hemel Hempstead (HP3 area)

About the role

This is a full-time, workshop-based role where youll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles from everyday runners to performance models. Theres no conveyor belt pressure here; just a solid focus on doing the job right, with the support of modern tools, diagnostic equipment, and experienced colleagues around you.

Youll have the space to do thorough, satisfying work, whether its routine servicing or more in-depth diagnostics and repair.

About the client

The business youd be joining is well-regarded locally, with a reputation built on honest work and genuine customer service. Our Clients are a Bosch car Service garage known for their attention to detail and mechanical expertise. The workshop is well-equipped, organised, and managed by people who genuinely know the trade, As a family owned business you are not just a number within the workshop, but a well looked after member.

Working hours

Monday to Friday, 8:30- 5:30 8:00 - 12pm Saturdays every other weekend 13 Saturdays a year.

Key duties

General servicing and maintenance across a range of makes and models

Mechanical repairs from brake replacements to more complex engine work

Keeping accurate records of work carried out

Maintaining workshop standards and ensuring a safe, clean work environment

Key requirements

Previous experience in a vehicle technician role (at least 2 years preferred)

Level 3/Level 2 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)

Confident in diagnostics and mechanical repair

Strong work ethic and good attention to detail

Full UK driving licence
