Mechanic
Location: Bishops Stortford
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum DOE
We are supporting a respected independent automotive workshop in Bishops Stortford who are looking for an experienced Mechanic to join their team. If you are confident with timing chains, clutches, diagnostics and general repairs, this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and established garage.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for
•
Servicing, diagnostics, MOT preparation and repairs
•
Working across a variety of makes and models
•
Using modern diagnostic equipment and tools
•
Carrying out tasks such as steering, suspension, cambelts, exhausts, brakes, air-conditioning and battery replacements
•
Maintaining a clean and organised workshop
This is a hands-on role within a friendly team where pride in workmanship and customer care are key values.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Mechanic / Vehicle Technician
•
Comfortable with servicing, diagnostics, MOT preparation and repairs
•
Ability to use diagnostic systems
•
Time-served or formally qualified
Working Hours
•
Monday to Friday: 08:00 17:30
•
No weekends
