Software Engineer (Application Support)

Hiring Position: Software Engineer (Application Support): Open to Thai Nationals Only

Working Condition : Hybrid Working (3 Days at Office and 2 Days from Anywhere OR WFA)

Location : Bangkok, Thailand (BTS and MRT Accessible)

Pay Rate : THB 45000 to THB 70000 + Travel Allowance + Mobile Allowance + Shift Allowance

Scope of the Role

As a Software Engineer (Application Support), you will take ownership of delivering exceptional service to our global customers in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries by resolving software-related issues and ensuring that the expected service level agreements (SLAs) are met using standardized procedures and processes.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
• Diagnose and troubleshoot both functional and technical issues of the product, which may be related to other IT areas (e.g., network, OS)
• Ensure tickets are created, updated, and resolved within the SLA
• Liaise and collaborate with our global headquarters for knowledge transfer and process improvement activities
• Properly escalate unresolved incidents to appropriate internal or external teams following the workflow in a timely manner

Knowledge/Experience/Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Knowledge of business process orientation
• Ability to write SQL queries in databases (Oracle, Postgres) and understand SQL scripts
• Ability to analyze OS (Windows, Linux, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm), application, and database logs
• Flexibility to work in different shifts and hours
• Proficiency in English is a must

Beneficial Experience

• Experience working with applications such as MES and ERP
• Basic knowledge of Unix (Linux) command/shell scripts
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes
• Basic knowledge of Docker Swarm
• Basic knowledge of Java programming
• Background experience as a Programmer Analyst, System Analyst, or System Architect
