Job description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Charge Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Charge Nurse will play a crucial role in overseeing patient care, managing resources efficiently, and ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered to our patients. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and problem-solving skills, along with a demonstrated ability to coordinate and supervise nursing staff effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Assume a leadership role in the delivery of patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Coordinate and delegate nursing assignments to ensure efficient utilization of resources and appropriate patient care.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and ongoing training to promote professional growth.
  • Monitor and assess patient care delivery, ensuring adherence to established protocols and quality standards.
  • Evaluate patient needs, develop care plans, and implement interventions in collaboration with healthcare providers.
  • Serve as a resource for clinical expertise and provide guidance to nursing staff in complex patient care situations.
  • Manage and resolve patient and family concerns, ensuring effective communication and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a charge nurse or supervisory role.
  • Proven proficiency in coordinating patient care and managing resources effectively.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and lead a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of current healthcare practices, regulations, and quality standards.
