Role: Project Design Engineer Advance Engineering

Description of Role

The incumbent shall be responsible to handle the end-to-end control design including power distribution panels, doing engineering for more than one project at any particular time and shall assist in standardization of the design and get trained & implement new technologies in the design.

Technical Skills Required

Must to have experience in designing/operation of warehouse / intra-logistics automation, there in design of electrical power distribution, sizing and selection controls components (viz Barcode scanners, field sensors/actuators, PLC’s, remote IOs, VFD’s, Starters- DOL/RDOL, Encoders, 3rd party control equipment, power/control cables, control cabinets etc), automated MHE’s, Experience on Siemens, Rockwell Automation’s latest PLC / HMI platforms, industrial communication protocols preferably Profibus, ProfNet, Ethernet IP, TCP/IP, Modbus TCP/IP. Systems integration & Safety design experience. Estimating the design schedule, Preparing the System BOM, BOQ, Bought-out specifications, system documentation viz Control Philosophy, IO List, power/control cable routing and tray layout identification etc. Liaison with multi-disciplinary internal teams, consultants, end customers. Secure design, solution, make approvals from end customers/consultants. Knowledge of National & international standard will be a plus point. Ability to support installation and commissioning engineers from office or by visiting site.

Good to have Exposure and experience in Industrial electrical installation & commissioning and troubleshooting 480V 3- phase, 230VAC,110 VAC, and 24VDC systems. Experience with advanced automation controls systems, WCS/SAP interface & ASRS systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform end-end design development for assigned projects.
• Understand & implement technical solutions prepared by bid solution team. Evaluate feasibility and bring out any issues doubts and get it clarified by respective stakeholder
• Prepare detailed layout drawings, Electrical circuit drawings of projects. Get the drawing approval from customer. Participate in discussions with customer.
• Participate and implement initiatives in the design like standardisation.
• Absorbs and implements new controls technologies and techniques.
• Ensure timely delivery of the project deliverables to all the stakeholders acting as lead (SPOC) for the project.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously with project stakeholders.
• Assistance in standardisation of design and implementing use of these the projects
• Understand the solution design, evaluate the feasibility & guide the team with the deliverables.

Minimum Qualification

BE / B.Tech- Electrical/Instrumentation

Years of Experience: Min 2-3 Yrs
