Application Systems Engineer
Job description
Key Responsibilities
Analyse business requirements and enhance existing application systems to meet business needs
Provide technical and application support, and perform application administration and performance tuning on investment management platform system
Manage testing environments to support user acceptance testing Liaise and follow up with solution vendor to resolve system incidents
Assist in managing the change control process on application systems Assist in the system implementation, and acquisition of computer hardware, software and related services
Foster a Growth Environment: Encourage creativity and fresh ideas, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field At least 3 years of relevant IT experience Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills Experience with low code development, Java programming, SQL, Python and UNIX / Linux shell scripts, DevOps and Automation tools such as Jenkins, and Ansible Preferred Hands-on experience in technical / application support on treasury or banking system, database administration is a plus Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements Need to work outside normal office hours as and when required Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
