Hybrid Cloud Engineer

We are seeking an experienced System Engineer to provide technical and operational support for our Hybrid (Private and Public) Cloud infrastructure. The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing complex IT systems, with a focus on cloud computing, virtualization, and network security.

Key responsibilities include

• Manage and maintain the Private Cloud infrastructure, including servers, storage, load balancers, and sub-systems
• Perform capacity planning, regular maintenance, and patch management
• Troubleshoot system incidents and provide user support
• Develop and maintain documentation, including system administrative procedures and disaster recovery plans
• Participate in system-related projects, technical research, and proof-of-concept work
• Provide Public Cloud environment support such as monitoring, deployment and troubleshooting

Key Skills

• Strong knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization, and network security
• Experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, and NSX-T
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, and SQL Server
• Experience with Public Cloud services is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

The qualifications you need

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the IT industry
• Minimum 3 years of experience in hardware, operating systems, and software (including VMware, Cisco, Dell, NetApp, and Microsoft)
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) on data center virtualization
• Other certifications (e.g., VMware VCP on Cloud Management and Automation, desktop and mobility, network virtualization and AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are advantageous
