Senior Staff Engineer - Crypto

What Youll Be Doing

•

Design, build, and maintain high-performance microservices that power our critical trading infrastructure.

•

Architect and implement scalable, distributed systems supporting real-time trading workflows.

•

Enhance and maintain our core strategy engine with a strong focus on backend performance, reliability, and API efficiency.

•

Perform thorough code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers to uphold exceptional engineering standards.

•

Ensure all systems meet requirements for scalability, resiliency, observability, and long-term maintainability.

•

Partner closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end technical solutions and optimize system performance.

•

Diagnose and resolve complex production issues in fast-moving, low-latency environments.

•

Apply and advocate for security best practices across all development and deployment activities.

•

Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously elevate our engineering capabilities.

What Were Looking For

•

Strong academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.

•

5 - 10 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in high-performance or distributed systems.

•

Deep understanding of scalability, resiliency, fault tolerance, and maintainable system design.

•

Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).

•

High sense of ownership, strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

•

Hands-on experience with WebSocket-based systems and GraphQL.

•

Solid proficiency in Linux environments.

•

Familiarity with modern CI/CD practices.

•

Bonus: Experience with Kafka, Redis, SQL databases, Docker, and Kubernetes.

•

Bonus: Understanding of crypto market microstructure or prior experience in algorithmic/quantitative trading systems.
