Software Development Lead

We are partnering with a key financial services provider based in Hong Kong to hire a Software Development Lead to play a pivotal role in driving key business initiatives. The position oversees end-to-end solution delivery bridging frontend, backend, and low-code platform development while ensuring innovation, quality, and scalability.

Key Responsibilites

• Lead a cross-functional development team in frontend web , backend API development , and end-to-end project execution.
• Champion code quality through rigorous reviews, performance optimization, and adherence to best practices.
• Develop technical specifications, test plans, and debugging strategies to ensure seamless delivery.
• Collaborate closely with users and Business Analysts to translate requirements into robust technical solutions and functional designs.
• Spearhead low-code platform development via OutSystems, including workflow automation, reporting, and system configuration.
• Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.

Skills

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field .
• 8+ years of hands-on development experience
• Expertise in OutSystems (certified preferred)
• Strong experience with .NET , and RESTful APIs .
• Proven ability to implement architectural improvements, and ensure system stability.
• Agile mindset with knowledge of modern web technologies and DevOps practices.
• Strong bilingual (English & Chinese) communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
