Location: Barry, Newport and Shoreham

Hours: 10-12hr shifts, Mon-Sun, 13 on 1 off

Start Date: 02.09.24

Duration: 6-8 weeks

PAYE Pay Rates

Days: 1st 38 Hrs Mon-Fri: £21.27/hr + Hol Pay

Nights: 1st 38 Hrs Mon-Fri: £26.91/hr + Hol Pay

O/T 1: £29.78/hr

O/T 2: £38.29/hr

£2.37/hr Bonus

The Role

Our client has a requirement for Plater Welders for industrial shutdowns in Barry, Newport and Shoreham. Duties will include:

• Using oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate
• Setting out, marking and cutting steel plate
• Repairing heat distorted steel plate
• Modifications to ducting
• MMA welding

Requirements

• CCNSG card
• NVQ / City & Guilds qualification
• Experience of working on industrial sites ie power stations, refineries, steelworks
