Position: Plater Welder
Location: Stirling, Scotland
Hours: 12hr shifts, Mon-Sun
Start Date: 19.08.24
Duration: 1 week
PAYE Pay
Mon-Fri, All Hrs: £20.00/hr, Inc Hol Pay
Sat-Sun, All Hrs: £24.00/hr
£55.00/day Lodge and Travel Allowance
The Role
Our client has a requirement for Plater Welders for a shutdown on an industrial site in Stirling, Scotland. Duties will include:
- Using oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate
- Setting out, marking and cutting steel plate
- Repairing heat distorted steel plate
- Modifications to ducting
- MMA welding
- Assisting mechanical trades with changing filters, bolting, moving materials etc
Requirements
- CCNSG card
- IPAF card 3a 3b
- NVQ / City & Guilds qualification
- Experience of working on industrial sites ie power stations, refineries, steelworks
