Scientist Antibody Discovery requires

PhD in Biochemistry, Biomedical/Chemical Engineering, Immunology, or related field with minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience (preferably in industry), MS with 8+ years of research experience, BS with 10+ years of research experience in antibody or protein engineering

Strong background in molecular biology, antibody and protein expression, and biophysical characterization of recombinant antibodies and proteins

Demonstrated experience in working collaboratively across various scientific disciplines and other parts of the organization to meet end goals

Highly motivated individual with exceptionally good organizational skills, and attention to details

Experience in single domain antibodies, multi-specific antibody engineering, Fc engineering, antibody drug conjugates, naïve phage or yeast display library design

Experience in NGS analysis for antibody discovery and engineering

Significant contributions to successful biologics drug discovery programs in biotech/biopharma industry

Scientist Antibody Discovery duties

Design strategies and execute antibody discovery campaigns for therapeutic and reagent antibodies using phage display

Generate antibody fragment libraries for antibody discovery and engineering, perform HT binding screens (ELISA and multi-plex flow cytometry) and sequence analysis to generate hits

Rank-order clones by affinity, in vitro potency, and early developability assessment

Execute sequence optimization of lead antibodies to improve developability and binding affinity
