We are seeking a Mid-Level Mechanical Designer with strong PTC Creo experience to support a fast-paced engineering team focused on 3D parametric design, large assembly packaging, and wire harness routing .
This role is ideal for a designer with hands-on experience creating production-ready technical drawings, managing component clearances, and supporting prototype-to-production design releases in a structured product development environment.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in Creo Cabling, electrical harness routing, Windchill PLM, and ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards .
Key Responsibilities
• Develop 3D parametric models and component designs using PTC Creo
• Design and package wire harness routing, retention, clips, and attachment strategies in large assemblies
• Analyze and maintain stationary and moving part clearances
• Create detailed technical drawings and release documentation
• Apply GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards to production drawings
• Support prototype and production manufacturing methods
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to resolve design issues
• Maintain organized CAD data, revisions, and documentation within Windchill PLM
• Provide occasional manufacturing floor support during prototype builds or design validation
• Communicate design progress, risks, and technical updates clearly to stakeholders
