Non-Medical Transportation Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive a transport vehicle to transport passengers to their designated locations
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring their safety and comfort
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, conducting regular inspections and reporting any maintenance or repair needs
• Communicate effectively with passengers, providing assistance and answering any questions or concerns they may have
• Follow established routes and schedules, ensuring timely arrival at each destination
• Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner

Skills

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous experience in commercial driving, preferably in a school bus or paratransit setting
• Ability to safely operate a transport vehicle, including knowledge of defensive driving techniques
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with passengers
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions accurately
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting as needed

Start time between 6:00am-7:00am

Must pass Background and drug test

Salary: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 36 per week
