Diamond Driller (Sponsored)

Responsibilities

• Operate diamond drilling equipment to extract core samples.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on drilling equipment.
• Prepare drilling sites and ensure safety measures are in place.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Accurately record drilling parameters and core samples.
• Work closely with site supervisors, geologists, and team members.
• Identify and address issues during drilling operations.
• Safely transport drilling equipment and samples.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in diamond drilling or a similar role (preferred).
• Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card (preferred).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy equipment.
• Valid UK driving license (often required).

Preferred Attributes

• Additional certifications in health and safety, first aid, or specific drilling techniques.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
