Field Application Scientist

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Application Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the medical or life sciences field, with a passion for providing technical support and training to our customers. This is a full-time position with the opportunity for growth and development within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and training to customers on the use of our products and services
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, providing feedback and suggestions for product improvement
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to ensure our products and services are meeting the needs of our customers
• Assist with the development of marketing materials and scientific content for our products
• Attend conferences and trade shows to promote our products and services
• Travel to customer sites for installations, training, and troubleshooting as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (medical or life sciences, biochemistry, molecular biology, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience in a technical support or training role, preferably in the medical or life sciences industry
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a non-technical audience
• Proven ability to build relationships with customers and provide excellent customer service
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment and techniques is highly desirable
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
