Schedule

Monday - Friday; 8.5 hr or 9 hr shifts; 6:00am - 6:00pm

30 or 60 minute meal break

About the opportunity

Performs a full range of professional dental tasks including treatment of commonly encountered dental diseases or dental health problems requiring standard corrective, restorative or preventive measures to the level outlined in the Air Force Medical Service Dental Clinical Practice Guidelines. Examples include, but are not limited to single and multiple teeth extractions, restoration of one to four surface caries (including cuspal coverage) with standard and prescribed material, taking mouth impressions for crowns, removable partial/complete dentures and fixed dental prostheses and fitting and inserting the finished prostheses. The restoration of single posterior implants. Ensures correct patient identification through the use of at least two unique patient identifiers and perform site verification, as required. Enters workload production data into reporting system.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited dental school approved by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA).

Doctor of Medical in Dentistry (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).

Shall have been employed for at least one (1) year on a full time basis in the practice of dentistry, or be a recent (1-year) graduate of an accredited, post-graduate dentistry training program.

Any Active State license

Active BLS certification

Active DEA registration
