Position Overview
We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our team at a reputable retirement home in Mississauga, Ontario . This is a part-time opportunity with availability required across all days of the week , making it ideal for candidates seeking flexible scheduling.
In this role, you will assist residents with daily living activities, promote independence, and help maintain a safe, respectful, and caring environment.

Compensation
$19–$21 per hour
Job Type
Part-Time
Shifts Available
- Day: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Evening: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Night: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Availability Required: Monday to Sunday
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and activities of daily living
- Support residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Provide emotional support and build positive, respectful relationships
- Observe and report changes in residents physical or mental condition
- Complete accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies
- Collaborate with nurses and the healthcare team to ensure quality care
- Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times
Job Requirements
- PSW certificate from a recognized program
- Previous experience in a retirement or long-term care setting is an asset
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills
- Physically able to perform care tasks, including lifting and mobility assistance
- Compassionate, patient, and resident- centered approach
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Flexible availability across all days of the week
