Partnerships Marketing Manager
Job description
At Blue Light Card, our mission is to support and celebrate those who serve communities with unwavering dedication - from emergency services to healthcare, defence, and education sectors. By offering exclusive benefits and discounts through partnerships with top brands, we aim to make a meaningful impact on their everyday lives.
Founded in the UK in 2008, we now have more than 6 million members globally. We launched in Australia in 2022 with the same commitment to supporting those who serve. This is an opportunity to be part of a team driving the next chapter of Blue Light Card’s journey, blending purpose with measurable commercial success.
The role
As Partnership Marketing Manager, you’ll sit at the intersection of our B2B partnerships and brand growth - turning our member partnerships into marketing engines that drive sign-ups and awareness across Australia. Reporting to our Head of Marketing, you’ll own the end-to-end marketing relationship with our B2B partner organisations and build integrated marketing plans that get the most out of them.
What you’ll do
Partnership marketing & activation
- You’ll develop and run integrated marketing plans for our B2B frontline membership organisations and our retail partners, keeping campaigns insight-led and commercially focused
- Act as the main marketing contact for partner organisations, building relationships that unlock new opportunities
- Work closely with the B2B Sales team so marketing activity supports the wider commercial relationship, bringing partnerships to life with compelling offers, collateral and brand amplification
- Drive new member sign-ups through partnership-led campaigns, with clear KPIs and reporting against growth targets
Retail partner advertising
- You’ll lead the development of advertising opportunities with key retail partners, working with the Partnerships team to bring retailers to market
- Build go-to-market plans that maximise exposure for retail partners across our owned channels and beyond
- Drive brand awareness through retail partner campaigns, balancing partner objectives with our member-first approach
- Surface the most compelling retail offers and package them into B2B-ready marketing assets the Sales team can use with organisational partners across nursing, teaching and allied health
Planning & reporting
- Manage campaign planning, budgeting and post-campaign analysis for all partnership marketing activity
- Stay close to market trends and competitor activity to keep sharpening our partnership marketing approach
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years in a marketing role, with at least 2 years in a B2B, partnership or trade marketing capacity
- A track record of delivering integrated marketing campaigns that drive measurable growth
- Creativity. You'll concept bold & brave campaigns & activations
- Experience managing commercial relationships with external partners or retailers
- Exposure to member acquisition or performance marketing is a plus
- You're confident across digital, CRM (Braze), social and above-the-line channels, and comfortable managing multiple partners and campaigns at once
- You're a collaborative operator who works well across Partnerships, Product and Creative
What’s on offer
- A competitive base salary
- 24 days annual leave + birthday leave, moments that matter & volunteer leave
- $1,000 health insurance contribution + $1,000 personal development fund
- Paid parental leave, an EAP, and your own Blue Light Card
- Hybrid working — 3 days in our Sydney CBD office, 2 from home
If you want to build marketing partnerships that genuinely move the needle — and help Australia’s essential workers make their money go further — we’d love to hear from you.
